Surprising results of a Youth Injury Prevention ProgramEllen Shanley, PT, PhD, is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Senior Director of Care Delivery Optimization at ATI Physical Therapy. She is also Director of Athletic Injury Research, Prevention, and Education for the South Carolina Center for Orthopedic Research. Dr. Shanley serves as Senior Faculty in an APTA credentialed sports residency and is a co-founder of the APTA credentialed upper extremity fellowship at ATI PT. Dr. Thigpen is Vice President for Care Delivery for ATI Physical Therapy leading the clinical services and quality improvement across the ATI platform to prevent and treat of musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Thigpen holds adjunct appointments with Duke University Department of Orthopaedics, Division of Physical Therapy, University of South Carolina Department of Physical Therapy, and Clemson University Bioengineering.
