Mary I. O’Connor, MD, will discuss Movement is Life’s Operation Change, a community-based program for women with obesity and knee pain.

1/20 Lunch and LearnDr. O’Connor is a nationally recognized leader for health equity. Since its inception in 2010, she has chaired the Movement is Life Caucus, a multi-stakeholder coalition committed to addressing musculoskeletal health disparities. She is emerita professor of orthopedics at Mayo Clinic and Professor of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine. As an entrepreneur committed to patient-centered and value driven care, Dr. O’Connor is co-founder of VOYA Health, a new musculoskeletal medical startup company. In February 2021, she will become the Chief Medical Officer for VOYA Health.
