Tamara Huff, MD – Musculoskeletal Health Disparities

Dr. Tamara Huff is an experienced orthopedic surgeon at St. Francis Orthopaedic Institute in Columbus, Georgia interested in community-based health interventions to improve knee pain and comprehensive musculoskeletal care throughout the lifespan. She is focused on the treatment of musculoskeletal infections and being an ambassador to promote diversity of the field of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Huff attended the University of Georgia and graduated with honors in history and then went on to obtain her medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is interested in community-based health interventions, musculoskeletal infections and geriatric musculoskeletal health. When she isn’t working in the clinic or research she is mentoring the next generation of physicians.
