May 29, 2019

Webinar Information:

Amanda Nelson, MD, MSCR, RhMSUS, will provide an overview of the Johnston County Osteoarthritis Project. The session will have a Q & A at the end.

The Johnston County Health Study is a long-term research study based in Johnston County, North Carolina. The purpose of the study is to measure how common osteoarthritis, pain, and disability are in the county, as well as its impact on individuals and the community. This study examines how osteoarthritis is related to other health conditions, such as injury, obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Additionally, the study looks out how osteoarthritis and other health conditions differ by gender and race/ethnicity.

You can learn more about the study here and its recruitment needs here.
