Marie Westby, PT, PhD is the Physical Therapy Teaching Supervisor in the Mary Pack Arthritis Program in Vancouver, BC and holds a Clinician Scientist position in the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility, Vancouver. She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, University of British Columbia. She has worked as a physical therapist in out-patient arthritis care for 30 years treating clients with many forms of inflammatory and degenerative arthritis. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and consumer magazines, co-authored chapters on Exercise and Arthritis in rheumatology and physical medicine textbooks, and presented throughout Canada and the US on exercise prescription and rehabilitation in arthritis and joint replacement.

Cheryl Koehn is an arthritis advocate, community leader, published author and rheumatoid arthritis survivor for 30 years. She has dedicated her life to helping others living with arthritis as well as people with other chronic diseases. She is the founder and president of Arthritis Consumer Experts, a national, patient-led organization that provides science-based information and education programs in both official languages to people with arthritis.
