Kelli D. Allen, PhD

Co-Director of Research

Kelli Allen is Co-Director of Research of the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance. The focus of her research, for the past 20 years, has been on improving care and outcomes for individuals with osteoarthritis, as well as other rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions. She conducts pragmatic trials within health systems. She is Associate Director of the Methodology Core for the UNC Core Center for Clinical Research, funded by the National Institutes of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Disorders. She is also Associate Director of the Center of Innovation to Accelerate Discovery and Practice Transformation at the Durham VA Healthcare system.
