Podcasting with the OA Action Alliance

One of the main reasons why podcasts are so popular today is because of their convenience. You can listen to the exact content that interests you at the time and location that is most ideal for you. For the unfamiliar, a podcast is a series of audio discussions, led by one or more recurring hosts about a particular topic or current event, which can be downloaded to a personal device for easy listening. With 1 in 4 (or 58.5 million) US adults having some form of arthritis, the popularity of podcasts on chronic pain-related topics, such as osteoarthritis (OA), is also rising. The Osteoarthritis Action Alliance (OAAA) regularly participates in podcasts to help elevate OA as a national health priority and promote arthritis-appropriate, evidence-based interventions for the prevention and management of OA. Here are a few podcasts featuring OAAA representatives as the special guests:

Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.
