Brief Survey for Healthcare Providers on Osteoarthritis

The Osteoarthritis Action Alliance (OAAA) is seeking healthcare providers and researchers to take a brief survey to help shape both the content and format of new materials for primary care providers and people with osteoarthritis.

The OAAA developed OACareTools to help providers in primary care learn the signs & symptoms of OA, guide their patients to evidence-based management strategies and appreciate the personal and economic impact of OA. After reviewing OACareTools, healthcare providers have suggested new uses and resources for the toolkit, including companion pieces such as action briefs, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, and videos.

Our goal is to expand OACareTools with new materials for primary care providers, employers, and people with OA that will:

  • elevate the role of physical function in OA pain management and functional assessment in practice
  • aid patient engagement in self-management and shared decision-making opportunities

Please take the survey and share it with your healthcare provider networks. We expect this survey will take about 10 minutes: https://unc.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3VjN1MzbIIKlHtb

As a national public health coalition, the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance has a broad mission to elevate osteoarthritis (OA) as a national health priority and promote effective policy, systems, and environmental solutions that reduce the individual and national toll of OA.
